Who ever thought I’d say NYC is my “hometown”? Although I’ve recently said and maintain that “home” for me is anywhere that I still regularly visit, once lived for any period of time longer than two years, and still have numerous friends living there (sorry Miami… you lose on reason 2 from the list).
Anyhow, here I am, acting typically shy just before the premiere of the video of Billy Joel’s “Last Play at Shea”. I was there for the original show, so there was something fitting about being there to see its premiere as we ironically sat in the new stadium.

Since it was so nice out yesterday, I took Dixie to the dog park. As is usually the case, she went straight for the big dogs. She hasn’t gotten the memo she’s only 7.5 pounds. Also highly enjoyable was the dog who thought it could scale a tree to get a squirrel. If only my iPhone took video… Hilarious.

Just another day. Love this photo. Confirms that I made the right choice in buying my first (gasp) Canon camera, slightly betraying my firm Nikon roots. This captures the typical scene, me trying to edit and work on my laptop and Dixie, wanting to overtake my laptop. Some things will never change!
